Annual Mass for the RAF
Sunday 26 April 2026

Vocations (Good Shepherd) Sunday was celebrated in style at the military Cathedral of St Michael and St George when Bishop Paul offered Mass with the intention of the people and the mission of the Royal Air Force.  This annual Mass takes place in April each year, the month in which the RAF was formed on 1 April 1918.

Rev (Sqn Ldr) Anthony Curran gave the homily at Mass and other members of the RAF family took part.  Following Mass visitors from the RAF mingled with parishioners over refreshments to share stories and greetings.

The second annual Mass for the RAF takes place each October at the Central Church of the RAF, St Clement Danes in London.  This year the Mass is at 2pm on Thu 8 Oct.  Join with Bishop Paul and the RAF Catholic chaplains at the Mass.  All are most welcome to attend.  For further information contact jeremy.wynne109@mod.gov.uk
